MISA BC Notice of Election
MISA BC exists to promote greater co-operation among local government staff in the IT field by sharing information and developing common solutions on a broader and cost-effective scale.
MISA BC is run by a team of elected and appointed individuals who are committed to providing their leadership and guidance to further the association. Your time commitment largely depends upon your role, the amount of time you are able to commit, and what events are currently being offered by MISA BC.

Elections for the six MISA BC Executive Committee positions will take place during the 2017 MISA BC Annual General Meeting at the Sandman Signature Hotel, Langley BC, Wednesday April 26, 2017 @ 2:30pm.
The six positions are:
– Vice President
– Director at Large (1)
– Director at Large (2)

In addition to the elected positions, MISA BC is often looking for talent to join the following committees:
– Communications Committee – including web and social media support
– Education Committee – to explore educational opportunities for our members
– Membership Committee – to explore methods to maintain and grow our member base
– Sponsorship Committee – liaising with our conference sponsors
– MISA/ASIM Canada Liaison Committee – to explore options for working well with our fellow Canadian chapters.
