Presentation: Esri Canada 2
Whether it’s using a smartphone or a drone, it’s never been faster and easier to collect 3D data. You can now go into the field and capture everything you need within hours, rather than days or weeks.
This data can be stored, analyzed and used to create visual representations of infrastructure and streetscapes to determine the impact a project will have on the community. Will the project generate new economic opportunities? Will it enhance local culture? Or help establish an iconic identity?
These are the types of questions that elected officials, civic staff and citizens encounter daily within a municipal environment. In this session, we will share and demonstrate what other communities are doing to more efficiently collect field data and how you can benefit from their experiences.
