As part of its commitment to better serve citizens and businesses, the Government of Canada (GC) has launched a multi-year Web Renewal Initiative (WRI) to make its online information and services easier to find and use through a single, user-centric website at Canada.ca.

The contract for a Managed Web Service in support of the Government’s Web Renewal Initiative has been awarded to Adobe Systems Canada Inc., which will primarily leverage the Adobe Experience Manager platform, paired with Adobe Analytics.  Central oversight with distributed content management will deliver exceptional reporting and analytics that will be key to ensuring that all digital encounters – whether it is for information or a transaction – will be what citizens expect.  This will drive citizen engagement, and will bring efficiency to departments that invest in their digital properties.

The Government of Canada will benefit from hosted web management on the Adobe Experience Manager platform, and these benefits can be leveraged by all other levels of government, including municipalities.  Public sector-oriented templates and components will make it easier for municipalities to transform their web properties quickly, securely and consistently.  The overall result will be cost efficiency in a consolidated approach to web management and ultimately better service for citizens of Canada, in whichever municipality they live.

Attend this session, to learn about the vision for the Adobe Managed Web Service and the opportunity it presents for transforming all levels of government services to meet the expectations of today’s citizen. Particular attention will be paid to the equivalent opportunities for municipalities to deliver innovative government services and drive citizen engagement online.
